Warm oil pooled over the lower back for disc pain, sciatica and stiffness
A dough ring is built on the lower back and filled with warm medicated oil, which is kept at temperature for 30 minutes so it soaks the muscles and ligaments around the lumbar spine. Also available as Janu Basti (knees), Greeva Basti (neck) and Hrid Basti (chest).

Dough ring placed over the affected area · Warm oil poured in and replenished to hold the temperature · 30 minutes · Gentle massage and steam

When this therapy should not be done
- Skin infection at the site
- Acute fracture
- Pregnancy

After the session
