Alternating hot and cold immersion that pumps swelling out of a joint
The affected limb moves between hot and cold water in timed cycles, creating a vascular pumping action that clears stubborn swelling.

When this therapy should not be done
- Acute injury within 48 hours
- Peripheral vascular disease
- Diabetic neuropathy

Before you come
- Eat lightly two hours before
- Wear or bring clothes you do not mind getting oil on
After the session
- Rest for 20–30 minutes
- Warm bath once the oil has settled
- Warm water through the day, no cold drinks
